Dear Parents, Guardians, and Players:
You should have received an email this morning from our Brick Youth Lacrosse Club Commissioner, Matt Lindquist, indicating that our season (practice, games, activities) has been suspended until further notice as a means of reducing the spread of COVID-19 disease. The coaches are optimistic that this is only temporary suspension and will keep you closely up-to-date with further actions if it were to become permanent for the 2020 season. We will follow the mandates of the State of NJ, US Lacrosse, and the Brick Public School System.
Please continue to PRACTICE ON YOUR OWN! You don’t need formal group practices to become better at the basic skills of cradling, ground balls, and passing & catching. Most lacrosse skill development happens outside of formal practices and games with many hours of personal practice with players pushing themselves, not afraid of making mistakes.
I encourage you to check out YouTube for very helpful videos reviewing lacrosse fundamentals to practice (shout out to Coach Dan Deichman for most of these links):

As always please contact myself or any of the other Girls grade 1-4 coaches and/or team manager with any questions. I and my fellow coaches truly love coaching and look forward to hopefully seeing everyone in the near future. You will hear from us again soon when we have more info.
