All team communication will be through the LeagueApps Play app which you can download here: iPhone Users and Google Play Store
When you log into your LeagueApps Play app please use the same Username and Password used when you registered your player on LeagueApps. We will be loading the schedule for your teams throughout February.
Practice & Game Schedule
Regarding the Schedule, field availability is a big issue every year and a bigger issue this year due to the snow, ice, and generally colder-than-normal temperatures which may delay getting on both the Boys & Girls grass fields.
BOYS teams: For at least the first 3-weeks all practice will be on the Drum Point Sports Complex Turf Field. This means negotiating with Brick Twp Rec Dept & other youth / adult sports organizations for precious time on the Drum Point turf. Once the Rec Dept gives the OK to go on the grass, we should have our usual 2 full grass fields and our 1 slightly smaller grass field for our Grade 3/4 boys team. This should occur before the beginning of April, even if there are some delays due to the ground (winter weather).
GIRLS teams: We will be practicing on our usual grass fields at Veterans Memorial Elementary & Middle School fields as far as I know. We still have to have a meeting and there may be delays here too with getting on the grass fields, but we hope there is the usual meeting with the Brick Twp Schools Scheduler soon.
Season start the week of Monday, March 3rd (all times & dates are weather dependent).
In general for both Boys & Girls it's best to block from 4:30-7:30PM on practice days as times may shift:
Boys (Drum Point Turf Field all teams)
3rd & 4th Grade Boys team ("Boys 3/4")
Tuesday & Thursday: 6:00-7:00PM
5th & 6th Grade Boys team ("Boys 5/6")
Monday & Wednesday: 5:30-7:00PM
7th & 8th Grade Boys team ("Boys 7/8")
Monday & Thursday: 5:30-7:00PM
Girls (Veterans Memorial Elementary & Middle School fields)
The below schedule assumes access to the grass fields in the 1st week of March. The 1st week may be modified due to very early sunset time of ~5:20PM (Daylight Savings Time starts Sunday, March 9th):
3rd & 4th Grade Girls team ("Girls 3/4")
Monday & Wednesday (Friday may be added later): 5:00-6:00 PM
* 3/4 Girls will primarily play on a smaller field to the left of the turf & the 5/6 Girls field by the trees between the two softball / baseball fields
5th & 6th Grade Girls team ("Girls 5/6")
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 5:00-6:30 PM
* 5/6 Girls will primarily play on the full grass field behind the Vets turf bleachers
7th & 8th Grade Girls team ("Girls 7/8")
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 5:00-6:30 PM
* 7/8 Girls will primarily play on the turf field but may play on a full grass field directly behind it
All girls teams should also block the morning & afternoon of Saturday, May 3rd for the West Windsor Lightning Tournament! A more specific team schedule will not be available until days before the tournament.
Brick Youth Lacrosse is part of the Coastal Lacrosse League and plays other towns either home or away. We had our scheduling meeting Wednesday, February 5th (boys & girls scheduling) and will be posting the 2025 schedule as soon as possible.
